Latisha (Tish) David

Sr. Advisor, Information Security & Technology Risk

Tish David is a veteran IT professional with over 25 years of experience in Software Development and Information Security/Cybersecurity, including 15+ years in Financial Services. 

Prior to transitioning into consulting, Ms. David was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley in New York City. She was the Head of Information Security & Technology Risk for Morgan Stanley’s Wealth Management Division including its acquisition companies, E*TRADE and Solium (AKA ShareWorks). 

Ms. David and her organization were responsible for leading Wealth Management in executing the global cybersecurity strategy. Ms. David was also responsible for identifying cybersecurity and technology risks, managing third-party/vendor risks, addressing regulatory non-compliance and policy violations. She and her team defined risk mitigation strategies with business partners, designed cybersecurity controls and provided technical consulting and governance on high-risk technology programs. In addition to these core responsibilities, Ms. David served as an information security advisor on regulatory audits, acquisitions, mergers, divestitures and new technology investments. 

Prior to her role at Morgan Stanley, Ms. David held senior leadership roles at E*TRADE (Vice President of Cybersecurity), and First Data (Vice President of Cybersecurity & Chief IT Risk Officer). Ms. David has led Cybersecurity GRC,  Identity & Access Management, Vulnerability Management, Analytics/Reporting, Automation, PCI Governance and Program/Project Management organizations.

Ms. David received her bachelor’s degree from University of Arizona then completed post-graduate studies at Emory University. She attained the following professional credentials over her career: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), ISACA Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Stanford University’s Advanced Computer Security Certificate.
